

Mat Hames is an award winning independent filmmaker who writes, directs, and edits documentary and commercial projects for clients like the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Discovery Channel, and PBS. Mat's work as a director explores a wide range of subjects from the inspiring stories of Lance Armstrong and hundreds of other cancer survivors in the United States, to the courage of Resistance to Nazi tyranny during the Second World War in Europe. Career highlights include "Last Best Hope", and "Making More," a documentary about the difficult production behind the first stop-motion animation film in the IMAX format, and "Photojournalism and the American Presidency" for the University of Texas Center for American History.
