The Nature Conservancy was involved in Prop 8, a non-partisan effort to help secure water for the future in Texas. They asked Alpheus Media to produce a TV spot based on their script.
In the fall of 2011, over 90 % of Texas was in some form of drought, ranging from moderate to severe. Lakes and rivers in some areas went completely dry, and all signs pointed to the drought continuing to get worse. Prop 8 would provide a new tool to landowners by incentivising protection and stewardship of our state's limited water resources in order to protect Texas' water supply for future generations.
