State of Tomorrow

About State of Tomorrow

State of Tomorrow is a 13-episode PBS series that explores the most forward-thinking work being done in academic environments. Working closely with the University of Texas System, we carefully researched and produced 32 segments on diverse topics including energy, forensics, music, nanotechnology, philosophy, bio-terror and more. After 71 days of filming and six months of editing, the series aired on all PBS stations across Texas.

A grant from Dallas-based Meadows Foundation funded the distribution of a DVD box set and teacher guide. The DVDs and curriculum have been distributed to every public middle and high school in the state of Texas. State of Tomorrow received eight regional Emmy nominations, and scored five statues.
